November’s weavers gathering was at good friend Nan and Jim’s home. They and their young son, Ethan had recently been to Japan and had lots of books, pictures and tales of their travels to share. They all got to experience indigo dyeing, sumo wrestling, drumming and kayaking.

A highlight of our gathering, as always is food and this time we enjoyed Nan’s soba noodles and Carole’s beautiful nori rolls, among lots of other less Asian, treats.

It looked like show and tell was well underway by the time I arrived, so hopefully I didn’t miss too much. Lots to be inspired by as I hope that you are by these pictures.
