harvest parade

darn, I should have danced with a tall head

Viroqua’s harvest parade was another fun filled visual delight showing the history of Viroqua, from the mastodon and really cute neanderthals to the final float encouraging us to join in Viroqua’s future. It was fun to watch the float go by that honored our history with tobacco farming in front of the old tobacco warehouse.  I pretty much fell in love with the tall heads,  they just cracked me up.  I got ahead of the parade about 3 times just to take more pictures of them. And check out Denise, what a cute apple.

the spectators are as colorful as the parade

Princess Viroqua had to duck under a couple of electric lines
