After having the misfortune to miss the last 2 or 3 weavers gatherings, due to family mayhem that kept falling on the 2nd Monday, I was doubly excited  to attend last mondays gathering at Joannes house.  Despite the winter storm warnings and unplowed highways a fairly large group of us found our way to Joannes welcoming home.  Just shows you how desperately we needed to ditch our isolated studios and get together for some boisterous laughter and fiber inspiration.  Of course it didn’t hurt that we all know Joanne is a great cook and she offered to feed us.  Yeah!
Check out Joanne’s blog  for some great food, weaving and gardening inspiration.
I am hoping that she posts some of the recipes from this gathering there.  I wish she lived a little closer, cause I’d be knocking on her door a lot, right around dinnertime.
It appears that I have been missing photography and may have over done it; but if you’d like to see more pics of our day together go to my flickr page.
