It turned out to be a lovely fall day to have the weavers gather at my house.  I wish the killing frost had waited one more day but despite the lack of flowers we managed to have a great time.

Parking is always an issue at my house and with a surprise visit by our contractor and his bobcat, everyone had a bit of a hike to make it up my driveway. But hey at least there wasn’t snow.

Fall is the perfect time to break out my favorite roasted butternut squash and pear soup recipe and there were endless other treats to go along with it. So with good food and good company I know I came away reinvigorated and ready to be inspired by my next project. And whatever that will be it will have to be ready for next months gathering.
