A spring gathering of weavers and fiber friends is always a joyful occasion, and Aprils  gathering at my house was a good indication of how ready we are to let winter go. Not quite “sit on the porch” warm but at least I wasn’t too worried about dealing with snow on my steep driveway.

Everyone was feeling as creative in the food department as they were in the amount of finished woven projects that were shown.  I have never seen such a quantity of really yummy food, covering my counters, so thoroughly, that I could barely show off that I had just put new soapstone counters in.  There were so many wonderful projects to see, some of which I didn’t figure out who had created, and I’m pretty sure that I missed more than a few.  I have added some of what I was inspired by; to my “need to make that” list.  Kathy’s tote bag re reminds me that I still need to make some kind of bag.  Hopefully not involving a lot of sewing, cause I just don’t feel the need to do that.  Maybe that is why bag making is always on hold.  Also Janet’s  overshot table runner in the Lee’s surrender pattern made my heart go pitter pat.

Thanks to everyone for our  ongoing friendships and always making weaving new and exciting.
