Our fiber group had the pleasure of having our meeting at Sonya and Cecil’s wonderful sustainalbe super energy efficient solar home. Her business Newenhouses has several house plans, all under 1000 sq ft. Check out this article about her business with lots of great pictures. It is always fun to see where creative friends live but this house has been planned with such thoughtfulness and environmental insight, that I will have to attend one of her open houses, to hear more about it in detail. Such a beautifully light filled space to gather for great food and projects ranging from Judith’s small watercolors, to Janet’s woven waxed linen tiny basket, Susan’s new overshot scarves, Elin’s teal handwoven scarves and Anna’s multiple knitting projects. Too much fun, and the fact that there is a swing in the kitchen says it all about the lovely energy in Sonya’s home. Thanks for sharing your home with us and with so many others.
